Trip 2: 13/3/2024 -13/3/24 - 4SVNM

Year 4 Long Hai Parent Presentation 2023

Residential Schedule

The 3 days they are away from home will be very busy with a range of activities which will be completed on a rotational basis. There will also be some ‘downtime’ included for children to enjoy in order to fulfil one of our primary trip aims: To encourage positive social interaction and develop independence.

Location

Students and staff will be staying at the

Trân Châu beach & resort , a medium sized 3 star resort which easily caters for groups our size, and yet still feels small enough that we feel we're the only people there. They are located at:

Phuoc Hai Town, Dat Do District, Ba Ria, Vung  Tau Province, Vietnam

Follow the link below and check out the resort's homepage.

Tran Chau Resort

Transport is via the Vung Tau Expressway and takes approximately 2 hours.

Safety

The staff  have done an exhaustive ‘risk assessment’ of the resort and the surrounds to determine the level of risk involved during all activities. We have also used the same resort for previous Year 4 residential trips to ensure a full understanding of any risk involved. Transport will be provided by an external bus company which has been used on many previous occasions and has seat belts fitted as mandatory. The staff will then ensure all children a securely fastened before departure on each journey.

Children will not be allowed to swim in the ocean, although wading below the knees will be permissible. This will take place under strict adult supervision at all times.

Medical issues will have been highlighted in the medical information provided by you. Any prescription medication needs to be clearly labelled and explained to the nurse who will be accompanying the group on the trip.

I am sure you will have other questions, please free to ask your class teacher, or myself at michael.martin@bisvietnam.com.
