13:10- 18.20 Fly from HCMC to Shanghai

19:00- 20:00 Transferred by coach from Shanghai Airport to Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Sunday 8th March

5:00-6:00 Tranferred from Crowne Plaze Hotel to Shanghai Airport.

8:20- 12:10 Fly from Shanghai to HCMC

Children to be collected from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Medicine

All medicine will be kept and administered by a teacher. Medicines should be labelled with your child’s name, the dosage and time of day it should be taken. A letter giving details, and signed by the parent/guardian, should also be given to the class teacher.

No medicine should be kept by the children, except for those who use asthma inhalers. These pupils should carry their own, named, inhaler at all times; a ‘spare’ should be handed in, also named.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance has been arranged for each student.  This is standard cover for our pupils as used on all BIS trips. It includes cover for a range of eventualities including personal accident. If you require any further details please contact the school.

Packing List

Wear to the airport:

Competition t-shirt, shorts and trainers.

Clothing:

Formal School Uniform for the awards ceremony

School shoes

PE Kit (Saturday)

Clothing to wear during the event:

– T-shirt, shorts, skirt, etc.

– An event t-shirt will be provided on arrival to be worn on Friday.

Nightwear

Swimming kit including towel, goggles and bag for wet kit

Casual clothing and footwear for downtime

Light jumper /hoodie for evenings

Non Clothing items:

Toiletries

Sun Cream  (usually not needed in March)

Towel

Small backpack style bag

Bag for wet clothes

Refillable water bottle

Any medication (to be given to teacher)

Travel games, books, magazines, cards etc. NO screens or electronics to be taken. 

Pencil case is optional (host school will provide all of the necessary equipment)
