Dream Day

How does it sound to miss almost the whole school day and drive around town to talk to managers of stores. That’s dream day. Dream day is a day where we go to businesses and talk to them about the path of life and how they got there, and also if we're on the same path. During dream day you have a parent chaperone or a teacher chaperone to drive you around and talk to business managers. Dream day is happening on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017. This involves everyone from the dream team. We are going to look at future careers for us, the managers will tell us the ups and downs of their career. They will also tell us what classes that they took to get there. We are going to businesses in Bismarck, and we’ll ask them questions. We interviewed Mr. St. Peter and we asked him some questions. We asked him, will dream day be fun? He said, “It will be fun because when you go out and see some careers, you will learn what they do for there job.” We’ll ask them about what colleges they went to. We also asked him, why are we doing dream day? He said, “Because I want you guys to learn what you’ll need to be Career, College, and Citizenship Ready. I also want you to learn what it’s like to live in the real world, and what they do for a living, and what helps them have the careers they have.
