Dream Rush is a massive multiplayer year-long adventure. Instead of learning all of the rules at once, the game itself will teach players the rules as the adventure unfolds and continues growing, changing, and evolving throughout the year -- so you will need to train yourselves to expect the unexpected and keep learning the game’s secrets as they go! That said, these icons are a helpful start to give players a quick primer of what’s in store:
Unlockable abilities with secret powers. There are nine Leader Badges and an unknown count of Mini Badges. Leader Badges have three ranks apiece.
Battles by day favor the hero and yield higher rewards. Battles by night make enemies harder to defeat.
Three tiers of enemies offering different awards: Chapter Bosses (end-of unit assessments), Mini-Bosses (graded work), and Enemies (ungraded work).
Tasks to score XP, treasure, Power-Up Items, and new abilities. Includes Main Missions (required), Side Missions (choice), and Bonus Missions (optional). There are also Secret Missions to unlock.
Powerful non-player characters that can help assist you along your journey by providing insider information, protection in battle, and game-changing battle advantages.
Opportunities for players to buy, sell, and trade items from their inventory holdings. There are select Merchant and Auctions in class, and hidden Merchants online.
Stand-alone opportunities scattered throughout the game to score points, abilities, and unlockable content, typically with a flip of a coin or a lucky roll of the dice.
Signifies new rank of player experience. New ranks are achieved for every 1000 XP gained. There are 12 different player experience levels..
Represents a player’s ongoing experience throughout the game. XP can only increase, but it cannot be purchased or traded. All players start the game at 0 XP.
A player’s individual character type for the duration of the game: Tycoons, Explorers, Showmen, and Outlaws. Each character type rewards a different style of play.
Wildcard items with secret powers that allow players to bend, break, or ignore specific rules of the game when they are played. Can be traded or purchased for Gold.
Chances to earn treasure, points, and abilities by going head to head with other heroes, teams, or class sections.
Umbrella term applied to all in-game rewards, including Gold Coins, which can be used for Item Purchase.
