Assessment: Possible considerations for Dimension 1.1

  • Is the use of digital assessments or blended assessment smooth and non-disruptive to the flow of the lesson?
  • Are formative and summative assessments logically placed throughout the lesson?
  • Is access to the assessment(s) clearly explained or understood by students (no questions about what site to visit, login info, join codes, etc?
  • Is the tool used for assessment appropriate for the TYPE of assessment?
  • Does the assessment tool allow for differentiation for student learning styles/types?
  • Does the teacher use a variety of assessment tools throughout the lesson?
