Each student when enrolled will be allocated a school email address for the purpose of using Google Drive. It is the Whānau teachers responsibility to email Mr Thorne and Mrs Dalton the names of any new students once they are enrolled so they can create a new email and Hapara account.
Students who bring their own device must lock it away at the start of each day. We are not a bring your own device school. This includes Kindles, Phones, Laptops and Gaming consoles.
Each Student and their caregivers need to sign a Cyber Safety agreement before they are allowed to use any computer, chrome book or iPad owned by BIS.
Only websites deemed appropriate for each curriculum area should be used and should be monitored by the teacher.
Use of Chrome Books and iPads at break times is not permitted – this included wet interval and break time.
Chrome Books and iPads should be locked away at each break time and at the end of the day.
Each class is to establish guidelines for safe, secure and responsible use of devices.
