Duty Class

Each week a different class will have responsibilities for the care of the school.

Every class will have a copy of the duty week responsibilities for their classroom laminated to be displayed in their class during duty week.

Rubbish Bins

Students from the duty class are responsible for the placement and collection each day (out before 8.35 a.m. and in at 1.30 p.m.) of a bin assigned to them. (See Map Below)

The teacher responsible for the class after lunch (not the Whānau teacher) will need to oversee the students on duty.

All light blue Tech and Art room bins are to be emptied into the big rubbish skip and returned to the Tech rooms. These are the responsibility of these teachers.

Returning Bins at the end of the day

After lunch the duty class will the green bins back to its place outside of the theatre for them to be emptied.

It is each classes responsibility to ensure their classroom bin is emptied into the green bin outside before lunchtime.

Recycle bins

These are the classes responsibility to make sure these are emptied regularly into the large green and yellow recycle bins.

Please check your students are recycling responsibly.

Office, Library, Principals office, Resource Room and Staffroom

The Duty Class teacher will assign these bins to certain students who will empty these bins each day.
