Effective instructional leadership moves beyond identifying what teachers need to improve; it creates the conditions and support for that growth to happen. In this session, assistant principals will strengthen their instructional lens to identify areas for growth using the LIFT Observation Tools. Participants will practice capturing a high-leverage step to turn observation evidence into clear, actionable feedback and coaching conversations. Athletic Trainers will return to their campuses for the afternoon to oversee and support practices taking place.
Athletic Trainers will meet to revamp and standardize all district Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) across athletics to ensure they are current, comprehensive, and aligned with all applicable UIL requirements, state laws, and district policies.
The goal is to create a consistent district-wide EAP framework that clearly outlines emergency procedures, responsibilities, communication protocols, equipment, and required medical response. This will help ensure all campuses are operating under the same standards and that our EAPs provide the highest level of safety and preparedness for our student-athletes and staff.
