We ask all parents to provide a labelled water bottle that pupils will be able to access at any point in the school day. For hygiene reasons, this water bottle should be taken home each day and returned to school (full) the following morning. Pupils in Reception and Key Stage 1 receive a free daily snack of an item of fresh fruit or vegetables (for example, apple, pear, carrot, tomato etc).
Parents/carers can pay for their children to receive milk on a daily basis. If you would like your child to receive milk, you must register with Cool Milk and use this online portal to order and pay for the milk on a half-termly, termly or annual basis. Children under the age of five will receive milk free of charge. Children who receive means tested free school meals will also receive milk free of charge.
All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to receive a free school meal each day. We operate on a three-week menu, offering a choice of main course each day and there are also a variety of pudding options available. When you receive the menu, please ensure that you discuss it with your child so that you are confident that on each day, there is an option that will be suitable for them. If none of the options are suitable, please ensure that your child brings a packed lunch into school. We ask that this is a 'healthy' packed lunch and further details can be found in our health packed lunch policy. If you/your child would prefer to have a home packed lunch every day, that is fine.
Allergies: If your child has any known allergies or specific dietary requirements, please ensure that you let the school office know as soon as possible.
