We use ClassDojo, a highly effective home-school communication tool between parents/carers and class teachers. It is a free app that allows school staff to share what is happening in the classroom right there and then with parents via the 'Class Story' function. There is also a secure messaging service where parents can message staff privately to convey short messages etc. Please note this function is not intended to replace face-to-face conversations or to discuss more serious matters. There is also an optional monthly subscription service for parents/carers offering additional services such as being able to award 'dojo' points; however, you do not need to sign up for this.
The school office use Schoolcomms for payments for school trips, breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, communication and other events happening in school. Log-in details will be provided in September.
This is an online portal. Any parents/carers who wish for their child to receive milk must register with Cool Milk. Children under the age of five will receive milk free of charge. Children who receive means tested free school meals will also receive milk free of charge.
