Description of project
Society continuously treats people with disabilities differently every single day and it's time that changes. I had people take a survey full of questions on how you think that society can advocate for those that are disabled, through the survey I have also made a presentation and I have a video that has me going through the results.

Reflection
Throughout this project I felt very challenged not only because of the topic but mainly because all my ideas for a project revolved around talking to people face to face and having a chance to maybe talk to groups of people at school, which unfortunately wasn’t something that would be accessible. This forced me to think outside of the box. At first I definitely struggled on trying to figure out how I wanted to approach my topic but I think that making a survey and having people be able to put their own thoughts and opinions on my questions turned out to be effective and helped me to understand how much people really know about intellectual disabilities. Looking at my responses on the survey questions I was able to conclude that most people only know the surface level when it comes to their knowledge of disabilities and I am hoping that through my presentation it will spark an interest to people to learn more and want to take action on this topic.
