Susan Weaver
Biography
I began teaching at BHHS in August 2001. I hold certifications in Social Studies (May 1999) and German (September 2000). I have primarily taught German, however I have been called upon over the years to teach Spanish I, History 1868-1945 and History III (World History) , as well as facilitate the Chinese courses. In May 2002, I established Pennsylvania Epsilon Gamma; a chapter of Delta Epsilon Phi- a national honor society for high school students of German. I have planned and executed three exchange trips (two-way travel, 2004, 2006, 2009) with a partner school in Germany, as well as coordinating a visit (one way travel, 2011) from our partner school in Fulda, Germany. From 2006- 2013, I advised a group of students, who organized the National German Week and National Foreign Language Week or Discovering Languages month. I was the World Language department head from 2011 -2014.
