We will be starting with the Second Industrial Revolution, Immigration and Urbanization in the United States unit and move forward in time to Eisenhower Era.
Students have access to their textbook online and there are books in my room, which we will use as needed.
Students will need a notebook for notes and will need a notebook for unit questions - 2 separate notebooks, please. Composition books work well, as long as pages are not torn out.
We will use Google classroom to organize materials and facilitate communication. Everything students will need will be available to them either in class (physical worksheets), on Google classroom or on the ebook website (a link is on Clever). Students should be logging in to Google classroom daily. It is also would be helpful for them to be checking their email daily, too. When I post items in Google classroom or make comments on assignments, notifications are pushed out to students via email. There is the possibility to modify the notifications, however they may miss an important announcement or question, if they turn the notifications off.
