We will use Google classroom to organize materials and facilitate communication. Everything students will need will be available to them either in the classroom (physical worksheets and books), on Google classroom or in the ebook "Portfolio Deutsch" (a link to the ebook website is in google classroom). Students should be logging in to Google classroom daily. It is also would be helpful for them to be checking their email daily, too. When I post items in Google classroom or make comments on assignments, notifications are pushed out to students via email. There is the possibility to modify the notifications, however they may miss an important announcement or question, if they turn the notifications off.
Other valuable resources will be posted in Google classroom including the textbook's can do descriptors, which allow students to self-assess strengths and weaknesses before the upcoming assessment. Please encourage your child to sign in and show you around google classroom, the ebook and the online resources, once they have the class code.
Lesson Plans (make sure you are on the correct tab!) lessons may shift depending on how things go in class so check back to make sure what we are doing. Also, check for assignments on google classroom.
Standing homework - review vocab on quizlet 5- 10 minutes 5 out of 7 days of the week.
Additional homework - My Portfolio, workbook assignments, dialog practice, working on a project - a reminder will be posted in the class stream in our Google classroom.
