Duties And Responsibilities

BG Education Management Solutions, Inc. is a non-profit, 501C3 organization designed to provide educational experience in the areas of curriculum, training, study abroad, and program management. BGEMS is seeking to hire a Mandarin Language Teacher in a full-time position, working 37.5 hours within the school each week. The Mandarin teacher will teach Mandarin cultural and language programming in a public or private school within the states of Kentucky, Louisanna, Michigan, Minnesota, and Texas to build relationships with the Principals, administrator, and American teachers within the schools, and foster the development of their students. The Mandarin Language Teacher will report to the President/CEO of BGEMS

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and deliver Mandarin language instruction to students according to the prescribed curriculum developed;

• Develop and prepare interactive instructional program to engage students in the learning process;

• Maintain student attendance and academic records according to the policies and expectations of the school/district;

• Create structure, positive, and effective learning environment for students;

• Communicate professionally with parents regarding their children’s performance;

• Participate in staff meetings, conferences, workshops, school committees, and team teachings as required;

• Monitor students’ academic performance and provide feedback to improve student.

• Maintain strong and positive working relationships with students, parents, administrators and teaching staff.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance and support BGEMS activities on matters related to China, Chinese language, and the community cultural projects/programs

• Manage projects and special initiatives that may be assigned by the President/CEO
