How do you end a wonderful time away from school?? By packing the Covenant Kids Gym full of Inflatables, and about 70 shoeless kindergarten through 5th graders! A great time was had by all! Giant slides, Toddler town, Dodgeball, Football, Volleyball, and small inflatable obstacles filled the gym. It was so fun to see kids run and enjoy their time together while also using self-control, and competing in a gracious way! We had a few new faces and some faces that we haven't seen in a while- and we are THANKFUL for each and every one of them! As a way to JUMP into Spring and Inflate our Biblical strength this week we have a challenge for those in K-5. Look up, read( with help if needed) and write down the following verses:
Deuteronomy 11:14
James 5:7
Hosea 6:3
Feel free to talk about what these verses mean and ways that we can draw closer to God in this new Season of the year! Students that complete the challenge and bring on Sunday 4/23 will get a special treat:)
PRE-K/K-
Kiddos in our Pre-K and Kindergarten room learned about when Jesus appeared to the disciples with Megan and Jesse from the Gospel Project. The disciples were afraid that they were going to be killed as well. As they met- Jesus appeared with the special message- peace be with you. Feel free to talk about ways that we can help one anohter feel peaceful in times of fear or worry.
