1st-5th Grade
This week we learned about the Sermon on the Mount. Shortly after Jesus was baptized he gave one of his most popular sermons. On the mountainside not far from Capernaum Jesus spoke to a crowd included his disciples and followers. It clearly lays out how to live a life that is pleasing to God and the characteristics of a good disciple. Students were encouraged to re-read the sermon in Matthew 5-7 and think of ways that they could live out what this sermon means to them.
