Our team had the opportunity to attend two conferences. The first conference that some of our team members attended was the BringIT Together Conference which was held in Niagra Falls on November 9th and 10th. Sessions reflected on a wide variety of relevant educational topics including professional learning and leadership, deepening your practice, open learning and sharing, effective use of technology to positively impact the learning space, collaboration, innovation, maker spaces and empowering student learning with digital resources. This conference provided us all with many ideas to bring back to our classrooms.

The second conference that we attended was the OMLTA Conference (Ontario Modern Languages Teachers Association), held on March 23, 24 in Toronto. The OMLTA/AOPLV fosters collaboration amongst language educators and professional partners, delivers practical, user-friendly best practices in language learning and influences policies and directions that support French and International Languages education.
