GET INVOLVED

Are you interested in getting involved?

The BFCCPS PCO has something for everyone!  There are countless ways you can help whether you have 30 minutes to volunteer or a couple of hours.  For the PCO to be effective, your ideas, time, and talent are truly needed!  Please consider volunteering or donating because it really does make a difference in the lives of our children!

In order to volunteer at the school you must have a valid CORI on file with BFCCPS. Please check this off your list at the beginning of the school year! If you would like to submit your CORI application or check the status of your CORI, please email Stephanie McGovern at smcgovern@bfccps.org. A CORI application takes up to 72 hours to complete once submitted, so please plan accordingly. A CORI is good for three years.

If you don't have TIME to give, please consider supporting one of our fundraisers. Click FUNDRAISERS to find all the ways you can financially support your PCO.

Committee Helpers Needed

There are so many ways to be involved in the school but the PCO is our favorite!

The BFCCPS PCO is an all-volunteer community organization that supports our school by organizing and funding educational and social programs that enrich student experiences and foster a sense of community among all families and staff.

If you would like to be a helper on any of our committees, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form below!

Student Banking Volunteers!

CLICK BELOW TO SIGN UP TO BE A TELLER!

Student Banking is a wonderful program run by School Savings and sponsored by Dean Bank, that helps students open and maintain savings accounts at school.  School Savings is a non-profit, U.S. Department of Education approved organization whose sole purpose is to help teach children the value of saving money.  BFCCPS is proud to bring this program to our school!

Regularly scheduled banking sessions will be held on Wednesday mornings in the Commons. Students' deposits are given to our volunteer "tellers", who verify the deposits, issue receipts, and help students log their deposit on the computer.
