GENERAL MEETING 1/14/26 AT BFCCPS AT 6:30PM
Scholastic Book Fair at BFCCPS
SHOP ONLINE UNTIL OCTOBER 19TH!
The PCO brings the Scholastic Book Fair to BFCCPS twice a year, fall and spring. During Book Fair Week, all students are brought to the fair with their classroom at a pre-determined time. Parents and caregivers who would like their student to purchase a book should contribute to an eWallet.
The Book Fair is run completely with volunteers! Please join us!
We are so excited for the return of the Scholastic Book Fair! To ensure a quick and easy cash-free shopping experience, please set up an eWallet for your student before the fair. We will also accept cash, credit cards, and checks (payable to BFCCPS PCO) at the fair.
eWallet Details:
Allows you to preload a set amount of money into your student's account for them to spend at the fair and avoids the risk of losing cash.
Send the link to grandparents, friends, and neighbors so they can help support your child's love of reading!
PLEASE NOTE: If you have made an eWallet in the past, you will have to set up a BRAND NEW eWallet for each fair. Any remaining funds left over from past fairs will have been automatically converted to a Scholastic gift card. When you set up a NEW eWallet, there will be an option to add funds using payment methods - including your converted gift card.
The coordinators running the fair are parent volunteers who are not employed by Scholastic and have no way of looking up or accessing past eWallets or gift cards.
We can not run the Book Fair without help from the BFCCPS community! You can click below to sign up. Each block of time has two classes.
To volunteer at the school you must have a valid CORI on file with BFCCPS. Please check this off your list NOW! Your CORI application can be submitted electronically by emailing the filled out form & picture of a VALID photo ID to Stephanie McGovern at smcgovern@bfccps.org.
*A CORI application takes up to 72 hours to complete once submitted, so please plan accordingly. A CORI is good for three years.
You are also welcome to come help your student shop. Please check in with the front office when you arrive. Class schedules can be found on the volunteer link above.
Share the Fair is the giving program built into the Scholastic Book Fair, empowered by contributions from people like you! These funds support students at our school who need help getting new books. Your contribution helps even more kids take home a book from the Fair—and experience the all-the-feels, read-past-lights-out rush that we call “Bookjoy.”
