Reading as Distraction
Everyone is always looking for a distraction - something to distract us from the craziness of our busy lives. The ability of stories to take us away from our everyday troubles is powerful. The challenge is for us to be connected with the right stories. No two people are alike, and our preferences for books is limitless. Readers simply need to be exposed to as many books as possible, either through book reviews, recommendations from friends, or other appropriate means of information.

This website provides "best of" lists for kids of every age, from picture books to young adult novels, You can sign up for regular emails to get updated lists of book suggestions on a regular basis.
