Welcome to Team Summit!

Mrs. Krohley has been a teacher for 9 years. Writing is a favorite subject of hers, because she loves to help grow students' ability to express, explain, and refine their ideas. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, shopping, golfing, and most of all spending time with her husband, her baby girl, Chiara, and her Pitbull, Rosie. She is excited to be part of the amazing Team Summit!

Ms. Brewer is excited to start her 5th year at BCS and her 12th year teaching. She loves all of the sciences, but physics is her favorite. She likes Disney (like Pocahontas!) and Marvel superheroes (like Ant-man); she likes football (go Pats!) and dance (5-6-7-8, piqué turn, piqué turn, fouette en pointe). She can’t wait to see the Team Summit students in science this year!

Mrs. Els has been teaching at BCS for 22 years. Reading and singing are her favorite hobbies, in addition to writing, cooking, and making memories with her family, which includes her husband, her children, and many, many cats! She is hoping to open up her students' worlds through diverse literature and lots of book discussion. Mrs. Els is looking forward to an exciting year with Team Summit!

Mr. Ewen has been a teacher at BCS for 18 years. He loves to teach social studies. Superheroes and Star Wars are a few of his favorite things. He loves to spend time with his wife, Lori, and his kids, Gwyneth and Jack. In his spare time he loves to read. He looks forward to working with his fabulous teammates. Go Team Summit!

Ms. Wolcott has been a teacher at BCS for 11 years. Math is her favorite subject and she loves taking on any puzzle. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her bike, hiking, and completing escape rooms! As a UConn grad, her Husky pride is always proudly on display! She is looking forward to all the great things Team Summit has to offer!

Ms. Pedicini is new to BCS this school year, but is starting her 6th year as a special education teacher. She previously has taught grades 3-6th. Reading and writing are her favorite subjects to teach! In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her dog Dakota and spending time with friends and family. She is looking forward to getting to know all her new Team Summit friends!
