This mobility program offered an extraordinary learning experience, not only for the students but also for us as educators. The students had the chance to immerse themselves in Spanish culture, develop essential skills, and reflect on their own values and practices. For instance, during the city tour of Vera, students not only improved their English listening and communication skills but also developed cultural awareness by comparing the Spanish educational system to their own. The environmental cleanup activity was a powerful moment of realization for many students about the importance of sustainability. Working alongside their Spanish peers, they learned how collective efforts can create a cleaner and more sustainable environment. The mindfulness session in El Palmeral was equally impactful, providing students with valuable tools to manage stress and improve focus – skills that will benefit them far beyond this mobility. The workshops were a testament to the students' creativity and adaptability. From debating environmental challenges to producing a podcast, they demonstrated growth in problemsolving, teamwork, and communication. The birdwatching trip and the historical tour of the Alcazaba offered unique opportunities for students to learn about biodiversity and history in an engaging way, fostering a deeper appreciation for the world around them. As educators, we were impressed by the students' resilience, open-mindedness, and eagerness to learn. This program strengthened their confidence, cultural competence, and social responsibility, which are key pillars of their personal and academic development. We are immensely proud of how they embraced every challenge and turned it into an opportunity for growth. This mobility has left an indelible mark on all of us, and we look forward to seeing how the students apply what they have learned in their futures.
