The
The Erasmus+ mobility program in Barcelona provided an outstanding experience for the participating students in every aspect. The thematic focus of the learning activities—especially on environmental protection, sustainability, and science communication—not only deepened the students' knowledge but also significantly contributed to their personal development. Through workshops related to the preservation of marine life, students became more sensitive to the complex processes of rescuing and rehabilitating sea creatures. Analyzing real-life cases helped them improve their critical thinking skills and learn how to communicate scientific knowledge effectively to their peers. Interactive museum visits—such as to CosmoCaixa, the Museu Blau, and the Botanical Garden—were particularly inspiring. The learning methods used there (self-directed learning, visual and experiential approaches) fostered curiosity and drew attention to the importance of the relationship between humans and nature. During their visit to a vocational training institution, participants gained insight not only into the Spanish vocational education system but also enhanced their intercultural communication skills. The laboratory sessions further strengthened their scientific thinking and environmental awareness. A highlight of the program was the visit to the Ecoparc, where they were introduced to the practical aspects of waste management, reinforcing a sustainable mindset. The Sagrada Família was not only an architectural marvel for the students but also a living example of how art and sustainability can be combined. Overall, the program contributed to the development of the participants' scientific literacy, environmental sensitivity, and international competences, thus having a long-lasting impact on their future studies and career paths.
