The objective of the Student Government is to represent the students of Ridge High School, provide a vehicle for student voice, and unify the student body through social activities, fundraising, and community service opportunities. The Student Government shall create and encourage student enthusiasm through active participation in school activities. The Student Government will promote a safe and enjoyable learning environment for the school community.
Student Government is composed of four school wide officers, officers and senators representing each graduating class, and faculty advisor(s).

2025 UPDATE: Due to disrespectful and inappropriate submissions early in the school year, submissions can no longer be anonymous. Emails/names will not be used when questions are answered in the published reports, but @bernardsboe email addresses will be collected when a response is submitted. If there is a concern/question you would like addressed but would like to remain more confidential/anonymous, please schedule a meeting with your guidance counselor or grade level AP.

Nominations
Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors interested in running for Student Government should carefully read through the Officer Petition Instructions. Packets with instructions for collecting signatures and completing the Google Form will be printed in the main office and available for pick-up in room 711 and 712. Applications due by 2:58 pm on Friday 5/9.
Elections
Elections for upcoming sophomore, junior, and senior classes take place before Memorial Day each school year. Freshmen elections take place early September.

Bulletin boards are a great way for Ridge students and staff to share information about Ridge clubs, activities, and events. Some of the bulletin boards in the halls are reserved by specific clubs and groups, and others are available for posting flyers. See more info below before printing flyers:
Email the document you would like to post at least 3 days before you would like it posted to both Mr. Graber (sgraber@bernardsboe.com) and Mrs. Conklin (mconklin@bernardsboe.com).
If your submission is approved, you will receive an email indicating you may hang your flier/document on any of the bulletin boards below. These are boards with green paper and black borders.
Please do not hang items on other boards as these are reserved for other groups and organizations.
Please do not hang fliers, posters, on walls, lockers, doors, etc.
Any materials hung inappropriately will be taken down.
Postings are reserved for sports teams, clubs, & other school related events and activities only.
