PART 1 REQUIREMENTS:

Construct an extremely simple test vehicle. The chassis or frame that you install the electronic components on should be as simple as possible, the purpose of the project is to get the electronics working and to be able to control the motors via test code. No time should be spent on improving the chassis design.

• Have all electronics connected and tested (working).

• Have all Hardware (motors, battery pack, Microcontroller) attached with double-sided tape, zip-ties, or hot glue. You must hold the components in place securely. No component can be loose, move, or be misaligned.

• Simple cardboard box chassis base.

• Wheels that stay attached :)

Note: This iteration is simply to get your components working. You will not be graded on the design, only on the demonstration of all components connected, working, and repeatability (are all components securely fastened) of the vehicle.

• Create a .pdf write up document that has the following:

  • Name

  • Description of process

  • 1 photo of final working vehicle, 2 photos of the build process

  • Code with any changes made

  • Youtube link with vehicle working.
