Evidence of Growth or Competency:
As an interim principal, offering a diversity workshop and training for parents is a key part of helping everyone at our school examine and share their identities. By providing these workshops, I’m helping parents understand the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students, which strengthens the connection between home and school. This increased awareness allows parents to better support their children and work collaboratively with teachers. It also promotes a more inclusive school environment where respect for different identities is a shared value. When parents are well-informed and engaged, it enhances our efforts to build a community that values and celebrates diversity. This initiative ties into our broader goal of fostering an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels recognized and respected.
