October: We will be hosting monthly awards ceremonies to celebrate students' growth, academic success, families etc. I've created a schedule, agenda, and certificates for our ceremony.
Spoke with teachers, staff, students, and families. They all wanted events that were consistent and student-centered. Students, staff, and families will be celebrated monthly. First awards ceremony will be November 13-15.

Evidence of Growth or Competency:
As an interim principal, creating ceremonies to celebrate student success and hand out certificates ties directly into our goal of embedding civic outcomes into all school operations. By recognizing students' achievements publicly, we not only boost their confidence and motivation but also reinforce the values of hard work, perseverance, and community pride. These ceremonies provide an opportunity to highlight the importance of civic responsibility and contributions, making it a core part of our school culture. They help students understand that their successes are valued and that they play an important role in our school community. This approach aligns with our broader goal of ensuring that civic values are integrated into everything we do, from daily activities to special events, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility among our students.
