Mid Year Assessment:
Hi Oscar,
Thanks so much for your hard work in your IIP. You have met standard for the Mid Year Assessment.
Please see my specific comments below to help you deepen your reflection.
I look forward to even more growth from your for the rest of this year and into LSP2! Let me know how I can be of support.
Take care,

Self Assessment
Mid Year Assessment:
We ask a lot of LSP1`s in the Self Assessment--to unpack the Rubric language, understand the concepts, then apply them to yourself and your experiences as a leader (from the past, present, and future, to boot), and then share your thoughts in an open and vulnerable way. So, as I always say, where you are is where you are, and we go from there. I appreciate you working hard to engage with the Rubric, as evidenced by you addressing all the Indicators.
Moving forward, continue to work at understanding the language and concepts, and in ways to apply them to your leadership. I encourage you to review to the Rubric periodically, specifically at the Indicators where you did not set your Goals. And in future entries (end of LSP1, beginning of LSP2), go beyond quoting the language as an Area of Challenge; you'll want to share in what ways these concepts apply to or resonate with you as a leader.

Goals
Mid Year Assessment:
You have all 5 Goals written and completed. I encourage you to find ways to be more specific with your goals: in which contexts do you anticipate your goal playing out, how will you measure your growth and success, etc... I'm not requiring you to revise them (unless you want to), but I encourage you to infuse this specificity in the execution of your Goals moving forward (in your Action Plans for Progress--see below), and to incorporate this approach when you create goals next year for LSP2.

Action Plans for Progress
Mid Year Assessment:
Thank you for keeping up with the documentation of your progress.
A reminder: the first 2 columns (Actions Steps, and By When/With Whom) are for planning, while Results/Impact are for reporting out after you've completed the Action Step--this procedure promotes intentionality (in the planning) and reflection (post-action). It seems that some of your Actions Steps are after the fact, and your Results/Impact are about planning. Instructions are here if needed.
I would like you to be much more specific moving forward. For example, in Action Steps, you may want to add something about your intention--why you are choosing this specific action or this specific stakeholder group. And then in Results/Impact, in addition to recounting what happened, push a lot more into reflection. For example, in Goal 2, December, what questions might you ask yourself or conclusions might you draw about how things are playing out with that Instructional Coach? What did this reveal to you about yourself as a leader? What got confirmed or was surprising, etc...? In your reflection, might you want to make specific connections to how this is advancing your Goal?

Journal
Mid Year Assessment:
I really enjoyed reading your Journal. You took the opportunity presented (even noting this from the outset, in your response to "Why...") to push your reflection and to share. In the process, I learned a lot more about what a positive, optimistic, and equity-minded leader you are!
(By the way, this is exactly what I'd like more of throughout the IIP. And no, I'm not asking for long narratives for each Results/Impact entry--just to infuse it with some of the reflection we see here).
To deepen your reflection practice, I encourage for you to bring even more of yourself into the narrative. For example, what might you share about how your personal identities/experiences came into play during these situations (you edged into it with "the experience I wish my parents had")? What assets are you bringing to bear? What might be some challenges for you moving forward, say if you consider how to scale these practices into other arenas or stakeholder groups? Etc...
