First you will need to create the solutions to use for calibration. To do this, you will use transfer pipets to add the required amount of stock solution (40 µM) and ethanol. Can you think of other ways of creating your dilutions? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
When you have prepared each dilution, transfer ~2 mL of of each into a separate cuvet. Before you measure the absorbances of your calibration solutions, you will need to measure the absorbance of a blank.
Curcumin calibration solutions (5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 μM)
What should you use for the blank? (ethanol, water, another solvent?)
