Cal Sustainable Solutions is affiliated with the UC Berkeley Civil and Environmental Engineering Department's competition teams.
The team competes in the annual ASCE Mid-Pac Sustainable Solutions Competition, facing unique and diverse challenges each year including sustainable products, engineered systems, and neighborhood-wide city plans.
We imbibe members with hands-on experience to comprehensively address sustainability challenges in the built environment through need identification, design conceptualization and technical analysis.

The Team
Team members are enabled to model and present their work with a firm grasp of software for construction planning, 3D modelling, and sustainability calculations, including Bluebeam Revu, Sketchup, EC3 and Revit.
The team is open to all students of all majors interested in innovative solutions for the built environment . We pride ourselves on being a truly welcoming space passionate about our work and more, and if you share the same interest, we'd be delighted to have you.
