Informational Video

Sustainable Solutions is a multidisciplinary team of students. Our members are equipped with industry-relevant skills including life cycle assessment, needs identification, environmental certification, and capacity and transportation planning.

We provide hands-on experience with tools used by planners and engineers. These include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketchup, and Twinmotion for 3D design and rendering; HydroCAD and Sefaira for parametric environmental modeling and computational fluid dynamics and energy simulations; embodied carbon calculators, construction documentation and takeoffs.

Prior experience is not required. If you share our passion for innovative design and green solutions, and want to explore this in a collaborative setting, we welcome you to join us.

Cal Sustainable Solutions is a dynamic and growing team of engineers, designers, and planners committed to reimagining the built environment. Since the founding of our chapter , we’ve grown not just in our work, but as a community through retreats, design competitions, and memorable group outings.
