Big City, Big Dreams

by Luis Caceres

I am from the city of busy streets,

the city that never sleeps.

From the honking of cars to the neverending crowded streets.

With the smell of pretzels and hot dogs.

I am from a house that is filled with opportunities.

I have a family that pushes me to my limits.

From being average,

to being successful

I am from the family tree of hard workers.

From being tired and getting hunchback.

To getting better and aiming higher.

Chasing your dream and almost catching up.

From a big city to a small town.

From a place with bigger hopes.

To a town that is less crowded.

With more moments waiting to happen.

I am from a big city with big buildings.

From a city with jobs and communities.

A city with success

A city with dreams.
