Apple Glen Families-

September was a great month. We had SO MANY families participate in Pastries with Parents.  We also had several families join us for the Visible Learning Parent Showcase. We were excited to give families this sneak peak into instruction in our classrooms. 

October is going to be such a busy month!! This week we are ending our week with our annual Apple Fest sponsored by PTO. This event is always well attended by our families and a great time to come up and engage with other Apple Glen families and staff members. Please join us Friday, October 3rd anytime between 4pm and 6:30pm for Apple Fest.

Later in the month we will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your child's teacher will reach out to schedule a time to meet with you to regarding your child's progress. Our goal is to meet with 100% of our student's families. 

Finally, I want to remind families that our district policy does not allow staff members to facilitate or condone birthday invitations. We are also not allowed to share parent contact information. One update to share is that our PTOs have recently been advised that they can offer a parent directory. This is going to be voluntary basis and families must share their information with PTO in order to be listed in the directory. Please watch for more information from PTO regarding the directory soon.
