Grandparent Letter for Book Fair
Each year during our Book Fair, we celebrate a special “Grand” Person Day! This year, we are excited to invite students to celebrate the special grandparents and grandparent-like people in their lives with a heartfelt letter.
We know that some grandparents will be able to join us at the Book Fair, while others may live too far away or be unable to attend. We want every grandparent to know just how loved and appreciated they are! Students can write a special letter to their grandparent and share a little love from home.
If your grandparent lives far away:
Feel free to mail the letter to them! What a wonderful surprise to receive a handwritten letter from their favorite reader.
If your grandparent is able to join us at our “Grand” Adventure in Candyland Book Fair:
Return the completed letter to the library by Friday, October 9th. We will organize the letters and personally hand-deliver them to grandparents when they visit the Book Fair!
We hope your family can join us for a “Grand” Adventure in Candyland filled with books, fun, and special memories!
Wednesday, October 21st – 2nd & 3rd Grade
Friday, October 23rd – Kindergarten, 1st, & 4th Grade
📝 Grandparent letters will go home in Tuesday Folders on Tuesday, September 22nd.
If your “grand” plans to attend the Book Fair, please return the completed letter to the library by Friday, October 9th, so we have time to sort and prepare the letters for delivery.
We can’t wait to celebrate our “grand” readers and the special people who love them!
AGE Families--Book Character Pumpkin Contest
Pumpkins are due on October 5th! Don't forget to bring a plastic pumpkin. I would like to display them all month.
This month students have done Hispanic Heritage Month scavenger hunts, listened to audiobooks, hosted 3rd grade special reading week, and 4th grade is doing a mini research project on famous Hispanics throughout history!
