During this special reading week, we will host

Reading with a P.O.P (Power of Persevering in Reading.) On these days, 2nd grade students can wear superhero attire. We will have fun superhero books, crafts, and activities. Let's get excited about reading!!! #agesgrizzliesread

It’s Book Character Contest Time

Is there a book you love?? A favorite character?? Let’s make that character come to life by decorating an ornament! Turn the decorated ornament into the library with your name on the bottom. Fill out a form to explain the character and/or book it represents.

Due date is Wednesday, December 3rd!

This month is Nonfiction "Know"vember (November)!!

I will hide turkey bookmarks in nonfiction books. Students are to read the book they find. Then they can tell me one thing they now "know" from the book. They will then receive either a tatoo or feather bookmark.

Kinders this month worked on big library words--Fiction (Make Believe) and Nonfiction (Tell the Truth Books). They studied pumkin nonfiction books and reinacted a fiction story. I hope you enjoy the video.
