Great Grizzly Reading Challenge
Yearly Goal: 3,500-Minute
We are excited to announce a year-long reading competition called The Great Grizzly Reading Challenge! This challenge will help to build reading muscles by reading 20 minutes each night, five nights a week. Students will record their minutes in a milestone reading log. Every minute counts, so be sure to log your minutes!
Students will be recognized each month during the Grizzly Gathering for reaching various milestones throughout the school year. Students who reach the yearly goal of 3,500 minutes will receive a Grizzly “Readers are Leaders” bronze Medal of Honor!
See information in Tuesday Folders for more details. Each reading log represents 500 minutes.
Here are all the digital copies of the milestone reading logs. Click Here! Students turn the logs in one at a time, returning them to the library for a new milestone reading log tracker.
Attention all 3rd Grade Families:
The week of September 14th-18th we will host our special reading day, Twisted Tales. Throughout the week 3rd grade students can come dressed as characters from fairy tales, fables, tall tales, and wear other twisted attire.
