Who can check out materials from the Apple Glen Elementary Library?
Students and AGE staff can borrow materials.
When may students come to the library?
Students will visit the library for a library class every other week. However, students can swap out books much more frequently. Students may visit the library to check out materials in the morning and any free time they have in their regular classroom. The library is also open to students during recess and after their lunch. Exceptions apply when whole classes are checking out and/or the library clerk is not present for student check out.

Additionally, all students will have access to eBooks using the Bentonville Public Library Student Portal inside of Clever.
How many books may be checked out?
Students may check out 2 books at a time.
How long is the loan period?
The loan period for materials is 3 weeks--21 days. Periodically, student overdue notifications will be sent out via a physical half sheet of paper. Email notifications are periodic and automated. Sometimes these emails come over breaks. Please do not stress about returning a book turning these times. You can return/renew it at your convenience. What happens if a book is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair while it is checked out to me?
Patrons are expected to pay the replacement cost of the lost or damaged item via cash or check. Patrons may also replace the item. However, they will not be issued a refund should they locate the missing materials.
