Save the Pangolins wrote to MA State Senator Will Brownsberger to ask him to include pangolins in legislature about controlling ivory. Hopefully, in a few weeks, the change will reach the State House.

Fingerprinting technology

is just starting to be used as a weapon against Pangolin traffickers. Researchers in the UK are starting to use modified gelatin filters, typically used in criminal forensic investigations so they can pick up fingerprints and other clues on trafficked Pangolins or Pangolin body parts. In Kenya and Cameroon, wildlife guards are already using the gelatin filters in the field. We can only hope that this will help cut down the number of Pangolin poachers and ultimately, the number of Pangolins being hurt or killed.
