Belmont High School is committed to offering students the opportunity to learn in interconnected and interdisciplinary ways. These courses are generally taught by combining more than one discipline so that students can apply skills and content knowledge from multiple disciplines to solve authentic problems. This will allow students to build transferable skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and citizenship. Additionally, integrated studies are inherently centered on student identity and promote the development of student agency. Integrated studies courses count as an elective in your course schedule.
