English Department Overview:
All students are required to complete four years of English and complete either a senior thesis (AP) or capstone project. In order to communicate effectively, students develop skills in the basic elements of language: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Other skills developed include: critical thinking, synthesis, collaboration, creativity, empathy, and social and cross-cultural skills.
