REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
In order to qualify for a state-endorsed diploma, a student must successfully complete state assessment and career benchmark requirements. Listed below are the following graduation requirements:

Individualized Career Plan
Statewide Non-Course Graduation Requirements (ACT 158)
Scholars must fulfill a minimum of 23.5 credits in the content areas listed below.
A Scholar will be promoted on the basis of academic achievement or demonstrated proficiency in the subject matter of the course or grade level, the score received on any criterion-referenced or state-mandated assessment, and any other necessary academic information as determined by BCHS. To earn credit in a course, a scholar must receive a grade of at least 60% on course-level or grade-level standards.
*While a Scholar might advance to the next grade level in some courses, a scholar cannot be promoted to the next grade level without earning the appropriate number of credits.
Students who do not receive remediation in summer school, or by credit recovery for required courses will be rescheduled into the failed class(es) for the upcoming school year.
24-25 Academic Year
Nov 7th | Quarter 1 ends
Jan 30th | Quarter 2 ends
April 10th | Quarter 3 ends

Effective with the graduating class of 2023, PA students have the option to demonstrate post-secondary preparedness through one of the following pathways that illustrate college, career, and community readiness.
BCHS students are required to complete, document, and reflect on a minimum of 60 hours of community service upon graduation. These community service hours must be volunteer hours. Students cannot use paid time as community service hours.
Students must have a solidified college or career pathway upon graduation. Students are encouraged to enroll in a 4-year college or university, a 2-year college, a trade program, apprenticeship or training program, enlist in the military, or have an offer of stable employment. Documentation must be provided as proof of post-secondary plan, upon graduation.
