I joined Camberlot as Housemaster in September 2022. When I first visited I was impressed with the kindness, maturity and confidence of the Camberlot pupils, thankfully this has continued, our pupils also have great pride in their house and a genuine fondness for each other. Camberlot is known for its family atmosphere, a warm and friendly house where everyone feels valued. My House Team and I aim to provide your son with an exceptional boarding experience.
I live in Camberlot with my wife, a teacher who has experience in boarding, our three children: Jeannie, Ollie and Matthew and our dog Bella. My previous job was Head of Boys’ Boarding at a British International School in South Korea, before that I was Housemaster at the same school for seven years. I have been Head of Physical Education at a school in West London, taught GCSE PE and IB Sport, Exercise and Health Science, and coached athletics, basketball, football, rugby and volleyball teams. I enjoy cycling, walking Bella and paddle boarding and can’t wait to explore the natural beauty surrounding Bede’s.
As a teenager, I attended The British School in The Netherlands, an experience that opened my mind to different cultures and nationalities. I strongly believe that boarding should nurture the development of one’s self; one’s independence, organisation, compassion and ability to work with others.
I am a teacher of Psychology here at the senior school and I joined Bede's in 2021. My wife and I live in Camberlot with our two children, Phoebe and George, who are 13 and 6 years old respectively. I am excited to be joining Camberlot because I have heard wonderful things about how strong the community is within the house.
I joined Bede's in 2022 as a teacher of History and Classics. Originally from Northumberland and now very settled in my new life in the South East. I am a massive Star Wars fan and am a huge dog person. I look forward to encouraging the Cambo boys to maximise every opportunity coming their way and seeing them grow into ambitious, respectful and authentic individuals.
