I am incredibly excited to join Camberlot as Housemaster from September 2022. When I visited Bede’s I was impressed with the kindness, maturity and confidence of the Camberlot pupils, they have great pride in their house and a genuine fondness for each other. I look forward to guiding the pupils of Camberlot house, building on the foundations laid by staff and pupils, and providing your son with an exceptional boarding experience. Camberlot is known for its family atmosphere, a warm and friendly house where everyone feels valued.

I move into Camberlot with my wife, a teacher who has experience in boarding, our three children: Jeannie, Ollie and Matthew and our dog Bella. My previous job was Head of Boys’ Boarding at a British International School in South Korea, before that I was Housemaster at the same school for seven years. I have been Head of Physical Education at a school in West London, taught GCSE PE and IB Sport, Exercise and Health Science, and coached athletics, basketball, football, rugby and volleyball teams. I enjoy cycling, walking Bella and paddle boarding and can’t wait to explore the natural beauty surrounding Bede’s.

As a teenager, I attended The British School in The Netherlands, an experience that opened my mind to different cultures and nationalities. I strongly believe that boarding should nurture the development of one’s self; one’s independence, organisation, compassion and ability to work with others.
