The Eye Surgery
Julia, Mrs. Krueger's 5th Grade Class
I was four when this had happened. When I was born, my lower eye lashes were curled up. Over the years it has curled up even more and has irritated my eyes. One day my parents decided that I should get them lowered down. So in order to get them lowered down I had to get surgery. When we got there they said, they have to cut the under part of my eye open to get my lashes down. It was very scary. It took a very long time to do it. It may have been only a few days, but it felt like a few years. But during the whole time I didn't whine and was calm waiting for it to be over.
Krew 2nd Grade Mrs.Brous
I was twisting, and twisting. I felt it get looser and looser. I couldn't even feel my tooth because it was so loose. Then, Pop! My tooth fell out. I was so excited to tell my family what had happened I ran to every room in the house. I told everyone about the news. When I told everyone, I was excited for tonight. I knew that I would have to be very patient for the money. I was sleeping, when I woke up I checked under my pillow, I found a dollar. I told everyone once they woke up. I was glad I had been patient.
