Skylar, Mrs. Krueger's 5th Grade Class
Hi! My name is Skylar. This is my story about kindness. One day, at my birthday party we went into laser tag. Zing! Pow! Tag! We won! When I came out one of my friends looked worried. "Whats wrong?" I asked.
"I lost my favorite necklace..." I looked down at her neck. She was right. When she walked in I saw a blue dolphin hanging around her neck. It was gone now. I looked down at my own neck. My purple crystal was hung around my neck. I took it off.
"Here" I said.
"No you don't have to..."
"I want you to have it."
"Thanks."
I learned something that day. Sometimes you have to put others ahead of yourself. It made me happy too! And that is called kindness.
Sonam 2nd Grade Mrs.Brous
I was kind to my friend when she lost her dog and she was sad. So I (Sonam) let my friend play with my dog for the rest of the day. She lost her dog at the dog park when the gatekeeper accidentally left the door open and when nobody was looking he slipped away. Me and my friend went looking for him for 20 minutes. When we went home we found him waiting by the door. Then we let him back in the house.
MH 2nd Mrs.Brous
My name is Maisen. I will be telling about when I was kind in Scholls Heights. When I was outside at recess someone was on the monkey bars for the first time and they fell. When they fell I said are you okay, and took them to the health room. I was at recess and an ISC kid dropped his ball and I was going to play with it but instead I picked it up and gave it back to him.

Capella, 2nd grade Mrs. Brous
At recess, I saw someone on the buddy bench. They looked very sad. So I went up to them and asked them what was wrong. They said that their friend left them. I said “Do you want to play with me?”. They started to smile and they said yes! We went on the field and played tag. I found a new friend!
