The Coy After-Band Band is open to ALL 7th and 8th grade students who want to participate. This ensemble is designed to give students a chance to play a wider variety of music than what is covered in band class including jazz, pop, and rock. Percussionists have the opportunity to play the marching band drums. 

How to Join

The After-Band Band is an open group - this means all you have to do is sign-up! Sign-ups happen in August. 

Rehearsals

After-Band Band rehearses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:20-3:30 PM in the band room. The first rehearsal is on Thursday, August 29 and the last rehearsal will be on Tuesday, December 10. After Band Band does NOT conflict with other band activities such as Jazz Band (jazz band will start after ABB ends)

Performances

The After-Band Band will perform on the December 11 band concert along with the 7th grade and 8th grade bands.
