Hi! My name is Grace Williams, I attend Jackson High School and for the past four years have been a part of the Jackson Academy of Global Studies. While being in Jackson Academy of Global Studies I have achieved many academic goals and research that I would have not achieved without the academy. I am involved and take pride in much more than just my academic success. I am a four year vairsty runner in cross country and track. The Jackson running community is a place where I have always found so much love, comfort and joy that I will always be proud to say that I am involved in. Within running I have been a state qualifier, two time second team federal league, two time first team stark county, and two time first team academic Stark country as well as all academic Ohio.
Volunteering is a big part of JAGS, helping the community that has helped me. I have given countless of hours towards River Tree Jackson Church, helping the middle school youth group.
I am a head leader with the 4U club at the school. This club meets twice a month on tuesdays at 7am, meeting together as a Christian student body within the public school. While being the head 4U leader I also am heavily involved with the National Honor Society in the school. I am the treasure for National Honor Society and am in constant communication with the other officers.
Coming up this fall I will be heading up to Holland Michigan to attend Hope College. Hope College is a D3 liberal arts Christian College. I will be majoring in psychology with a bachelors of science on track to become a pediatric physical therapist. While at Hope I will be a Hope Forward Student which provides me with multiple scholarship opportunities and a closer relationship with professors and other students.
