Beacon was 10-0 in its division, winning the Bronx/Manhattan Division title. Beacon won the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) title for the fourth year in a row, defeating Brooklyn Tech 5-0 in the finals.
Beacon won the Mayors Cup in New York City, defeating Horace Mann 3-2. Beacon shared first place in the New England/Mid-Atlantic (NEMA) tournament at the McDonogh School in Maryland with Potomac from Virginia; each team scored 27.5 points.
Beacon won a tournament at the Byram Hills High School, defeating the Byram Hills High School in the final round. Beacon also participated in the Decoturf High School Tennis Team Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. Beacon lost in the first round to the team won the tournament, New Trier; Beacon won the consolation draw.
The Beacon team was honored by its first singles player, Quinton Vega, being named an All-American. Quinton, the second singles player Christian Waldron, and coach Bayard Faithfull were named “all-city” by the New York Post.
