I have taught at BEHS for thirteen years and have taught nearly every class in the English course offerings. My focus has been on AP Language, AP Literature, and Creative Writing. For the last ten years I have taught English composition, literature, and creative writing at Whatcom Community College in addition to working at BEHS.
Finally, I am a working writer (up early and writing before school) and have published poems in several magazines as well as a small collection of poems. Here is my writer's website.
I have been teaching for sixteen years (at BEHS for twelve). I love books, trails, travel, running, my family. Here is a Proust Questionnaire about me (I think they are the best way to get to know someone).
